Terrain
Bangarra's new work is a stunning fusion of dance and storytelling.
24 Aug – 25 Aug
Inspired by one of our greatest natural wonders, acclaimed choreographer Frances Rings explores the metamorphosis and timeless beauty of Lake Eyre. Delving into the struggle for survival of both people and the environment, Terrain takes us on a journey through drought and deluge, in search of the rare phenomenon that is Australia's inland sea.
Frances Rings describes her new work as a ‘Hymn to Country'. This powerful and evocative production transports us to the scorching arid desert plains, where nature delivers in abundance and promises all, but guarantees nothing.
