PARKING
Pay and Display machines operate on a number of on street and off street parking spaces in the city centre. These machines are pro-rata, so you pay for how long you want to stay.
On-street parking
On street parking is available in the area around IPAC. Patrons are advised to check restrictions before leaving their vehicle. There are limited disabled parking spaces, 1/4 hour parking and drop-off zones in Burelli Street outside IPAC. Street parking is free on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays but time limits apply on Saturday. Please be sure to read street signs carefully. Motorbikes can park for free on the street, but must abide by time restrictions.
Off-street parking
All Wollongong City Council operated off street car parks are free and without time restrictions on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays. Council operates 2 off street car parks located within 5 minutes walk of IPAC:
- Burelli Street East (Former Dwyers site)
- Oxford Tavern Site
Undercover Car Parks
Car parking is available at the Wollongong City Council car park (access from Stewart Street). The car park is patrolled during most evening and weekend performances at IPAC. A fee of $5 will apply ($4 for Season Ticket Holders).

PuBLIC TRANSPORT
IPAC is on the free Gong Shuttle route (number 55) which runs between 7am – 10pm on weekdays and 8am – 6pm on weekends. Call 131 500 or visit www.131500.com.au for more information.The weekend service operates every 20 minutes between 8.00am and 6.00pm. Click here for the route map.
